PS4 Pro knocked cap/resistor

Hey guys. During removal of an old, broken HDMI port on a PS4 Pro NVG-002, I accidentally knocked off a cap. This is a picutre that I found on this forum where the knocked off component is visible, hense maybe it can be identified. I’d really appreciate the help! The knocked off cap is the one highlighted with a black circle and arrows, the ones highlighted in red are from the original poster of the image.

It is a resistor 0402 20Ω

Thank you so much! I couldn’t find an answer anywhere!

Hello again. I got a new hdmi port soldered on as well as a new resistor, but the PS4 Pro still doesn’t boot. I had the traces and components checked, and apparently everything looks good. I read somewhere else that it is possible for it to be the encoder chip, but what is it and how can I get one and solder it on?

I believe PS4/pro would still boot with bad port or hdmi encoder. If your device doesn’t boot, you would need to check around on the board.

It flashes blue very slowly for a bit, then the light bar goes to white. Doesn’t matter if I have the HDD in it or taken out. Safe mode doesn’t boot either.

I guess you meant “doesn’t display/show up”
Doesn’t boot usually means doesn’t turn on or shutdown in xx second. Be careful of the terms you’re using.

Totally my bad. Anywho, do you have any idea on what to do? Also, if it helps, it does connect to the controller both wired and wirelessly. Pressing the dualshock’s PS button while its off turns the ps4 on. So there is life.

You need to provide hdmi port breakout all 19 pins diode reading, and pictures of the area you worked on
