So I had my ps4 slim since 2016, sometime in the year 2020 my disc drive would not eject disc at all, I figured out how to do a manual eject then, after that my ps4 did not take any disc after I had manually ejected my disc, it also no longer was attempting to read disc. I don’t know what happened my drive got daily use for 4 years, changing disc at least twice a day. Did my disc drive die, because its motors longer kick on when a disc is inserted into the slot, and the disc drive does not attempt to read the disc if I manually insert the disc. Suggestions for fixes or would I be better of replacing the system as a whole?
