PS4 Slim,is reading discs but not sucking them in

Hi any ideas what the issue is here ?

Ps4 slim wont take a disc in.

If a disc is manually loaded while the Ps4 is off it will read and play a disc once booted up.

If there is a disc in the PS4 slim it will eject it the second time the ps4 is booted up.

If there is no disc there is noisy activity with the disc drive on boot up.

Any ideas ? Does this sound like a fuse issue or a mechanical? If the discs can be read and can be ejected I can rule out power ? Lazer and motor correct?

One of the microswitches that triggers when a disc is about to be inserted may be broken. I had a Pro recently with such an issue. Open up the drive and take a look at a small PCB with three such switches, and an eject/insert motor attached to it.

Thanks for input , I replaced that part , still same issue , now im thonking maybe its the ribbon cable connecting that part to the motherB
