Hey im wondering if you have had many recent discussions or customers come in regard the ps4 slim optical drive since the 7.02 update on december 19th? Directly following the update my ps4 optical drive stopped working entirely except it will still turn on when you stick a disk up to it but it will not feed it in or eject. It also will not turn on the laser or spin the disk if manually inserted. I have tested the fuses on the motherboard and everythings fine. No hot spots or dust never spilled anything on it and its just a little bit over 3 years old.I have a theory but I havent been able to find anyone that wants to talk about it all I get is send it to sony and then I found you! Id appreciate any input. Thanks!
