PS4 Slim USB port problem

Whenever I plug in my controller via USB cable, a message pops up saying Too many USB devices and it doesn’t charge or anything. I already tried different cables.

Is my ps4 on its last leg or is it an easy fix?

I haven’t experienced this issue myself before, but I looked a bit online and they suggest you to boot the ps4 into safe mode and try to rebuild the database. Hopefully it helps!

It sounds like you have an issue with the usb controller i’d try starting by rebuilding the database if that doesn’t work find yourself a donor board and pull a new controller chip from that

I have the exact same issue. I have found that the WiFi chip is bad and is connected to the USB line somehow. By replacing the WiFi chip would solve the issue. I’m not sure if this is correct that is what I found out actually on YouTube. I have not tried it but would like to see if this is true though.
