I’m having problems with my PS5. A few days ago, while I was playing, the PS5 started to turn off and then wouldn’t turn back on for a while. When I tried to turn it on, the fan would start spinning, the blue light would turn on, and then turn off almost immediately. After a few hours, it would turn back on.
The thing is, I couldn’t get the console to stay on for more than 8-10 minutes. I thought it was overheating, so today I opened it up, cleaned it, and changed the liquid metal.
After that, I was able to play for about 40 minutes, but suddenly, while browsing the store, black stripes started to appear on the screen until the entire screen went black and the console turned off. Once again, I can’t turn it on until a few hours have passed.
Is there anything to do or is the APU dying? Thank you!
