I have a PS5 digital that works fine but the controller will stop communicating with the console. Sometimes it will be fine for an hour or more sometimes it is less. All I have to do is unplug the console and plug it back in and it will work fine for a bit again. I know it is the console because I have tried several different controllers. I have also tried resetting the unit back to factory default. Does anyone have a clue as to what this could be and how to fix?
The PS5s with connecting issues wireless with controllers have been at my workshop till now all WiFi chip issues. After replaceing the WiFi chip the issue was solved.
If your issue appear with different controllers at the same PS5, my money would be on the WiFi chip.
