Yes, 5V marked in the photo above is shorted to ground.
Oddly enough, FK2QB regulator (on the backside of the HDMI encoder chip) is getting 5V, so at least one 5V rail is working.
After checking the board with a thermal camera, the AUX arm cpu seems to be alive and heating up and the board itself is drawing about 10-12W. So something is alive. UART diagnostics doesn’t seem to respond (likely due to missing voltages and southbridge not turning on).
I have a feeling something bad must have gone when someone before me tried to replace the HDMI port (or something close to that area) since there was some work being done there.
