I have a PS5 EDM 033 board that no beeps or signs of power. Found a short on the ethernet port chip and traced it down to the southbridge chip. Removed it and the the short went away. I replaced the SB chip with the same kind and it powers up like normal and everything works. Has WIFI and everything. Now the issue is after a few minutes the console freezes. The game light is still on and power button wont even turn it off. I would have to unplug it. It seems like is getting to hot. I did clean/polish and reapply the liquid metal. Fan does runs when its on. Anyone have any ideas on what it may be?

I reballed the southbridge. And used very very little flux and resolder it back on. I believe that was my issue. To much flux under the chip. I have seen videos of people reflowing the chip and blowing it out with air in a can. Hope that helps you out.
