Hello all, first post.
I’ve just got hold of a faulty ps5 which has a CE-108262-9 error. I’ve taken it to bits and cleaned up all the liquid metal, previous owner has clearly been in already or someone has. There was far too much. As I was cleaning it up I’ve noticed I can see down the sides of the rubber and the gpu. Would having an excessive amount cause the liquid metal to get pushed past the seal? How difficult is it to replace the gasket/seal? My concern is the liquid metal possibly being somewhere it shouldn’t be, so I’m going to need to take the seal off to check. Is it even possible to get that fault code from this area?
Sorry for the long winded question, I’m autistic.
