PS5 not turning on

Details: Sony PS5 CFI-1218A Disc Edition

Problem: The PS5 currently does not power on, no sound,no light and no response at all when pressing the power button, tried also using a controller to power it up. When I try to insert the power cable to the console, I can hear a slight hissing sound halfway in, but the console does not start. The original warranty/security seal is still intact, and the console has not been opened or repaired before.

Tried these solutions:

-Resting for 1 day and pressing the power button for 30secs.

-Cleaning the vents

-Changing the power cord with a different one

-Plug diretly to a wall socket

(None of this works so far)

Can ask is it possible PSU problem?

This tells prob not the PSU issue but other stuff on mainboard, find local specialist for repair

By the way the hissing sound is coming not inside the console, it is between the power cord and the 2 metal of the ps5 where the cord is inserted, if fully inserted, no hissing sound

Describing hissing sound, its just very very little hiss sound.

That’s most likely arc between the prongs and the socket of the cable. If anything it tells us the PSU is not completely dead (fuse intact).

Might be a bunch of different issues though. My bet is a shorted power rail (no power to the SB) or bad PSU, probably fixable with enough experience and equipment.
