So with the shortage of ps5 power supplys and the massively inflated prices I wondered if we could get away with using an temporary external power supply. Until times gets better for parts ect. Now this has been done on Toms hardware website so it is possible. Just need to find the right power supply. So I had a little search around and came up with 2 possible options. Could the old 203w xbox 360 psu produce enough power for the ps5 or a dell da-2 power supply?
I have a ps5 with a dead power supply to test on which do you think would be the best option? I have looked at the specs they may be a little under powered but the ps5 uses a lot less than it is currently rated for so it might be feasible.
