PS5 Slim EDM-044 No Power after BIOS Repair

I have a PS5 Slim (EDM-044) that was originally beeping three times when I plugged the power cable in.

All videos and forums I read suggested the BIOS chip was the issue.

I re-flashed a good dump file from BadCaps using the CH341A Programmer in NEOProgrammer.

Now I get no power, no beeps, no lights. Voltages seem to be good.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If the PS5 is not responsive at all after using another BIOS dump, the BIOS file is not matching your PS5.

Please PM me and I can take a look at your original BIOS file.

I have the same issue as djtb i have the neo programmer and the PS5 NOR modifier the board that we got the BIOS from was an EDM-010 but the board that has the issue is a EDM-020 so we used the ps5 NOR modifier to go to the right revision or should do so but do i have the hit the Lock button on the Neo?

I’m not up to date what does the PS5 NOR modifier can do now. But the first version was only able to disable/enable the check for the disc drive. The other editable infos like SN, moboSN, MACs… have no effect on the functionality of the BIOS dump.
