PS5 slim no power. F7002 blown

Hello,

I purchased a broken PS5 slim (EDM-044) that has a no power issue. It does not even beep.

After doing some tests, I noticed F7002 is blown and shows 0.5V on one side and 5V on the other.

The rest of fuses seem ok and I also found no shorts in caps around southbridge or power management chip.

Does anyone know the specs of this fuse or have any idea of what can cause this issue? I want to try to replace the fuse to make sure the problem is something else.

Someone had tried to replace the HDMI port before without success and I noticed there is a little diode (Z71) missing but the rest of components look fine. Can this be the source of the problem?

Thank you

Ziner diode on hdmi circuit has nothing to do with fuse f7002(5A 32v fuse). You might need to check if any short on either side of F7002 prior to replace the fuse and blow again.

Most common PS5 hdmi port area components part number can be found from this post

Thank you very much! I will order some diodes and fuses and try again. I also saw no power at all at the UART TX/RX when the power was plugged and checked basically every capacitor around the southbridge and dialog chips… I will have another look once I get those parts and post an update here.
