I purchased a PS5 from ebay (basically for parts) that has been reset and wont get past Connect Controller screen. (Note: This ps5 is a digital EDM-010 Board in a Disk Shell). I have tried new front usb board, all the safe mode options, and reinstalling from a USB (which did complete). Other than reloading the BIOS chip I am out of ideas….Anyone ever dealt with this issue??? I know that if someone went to the extend to put in a different housing it is most likely Banned or Could the connection in a disk version housing be slightly different and causing an issue???
USB device is hardware connection so therefore pretty much nothing to do with software or $ony ban. It’s commonly southbridge or CPU related.
Should it show an error or anything in the UART???
