I have a PS5 that originally had no power, found out that it had a bad power supply, i replaced the power supply and now it turns on to a blue light, then white light, then the fan goes full speed and then turns off.
Here is what i’m getting.
try removing the led board cable
already tried, same issue
I would test those red marked caps while turning the console on. If there is a voltage reading at the line side at those caps, they are not shorted.
shorts or low impedence?
I measured around 0.3x~0.5x ohm low resistance to ground on those small caps on a working board. They are not short but low impedance

I have the same exact problem right know but I really have no clue where to go from here on now. In addition to the symptoms you stated, my PS5 blinks blue once when plugged in and when plugged out, no clue if that means something.
Let me know if there is anything you could solve.
- 0 exp troubleshooting, find a console repair specialist
- have some exp, have some handy tool i.e DMM, bench psu, check for boot up amp sequence, check for short.
- Else, take some picture from board with your measurements
