hello, I’m new to the forum, I have this identical problem with two edm 033 boards in diagnostics I always get the following error: 80810001, C0810303. I removed the MN864739 chip, but I always get the same errors in uart, what can I check? thank you very much to anyone who can answer me.the console beeps the fan starts spinning and then turns off
Did you replace the HDMI chip?
thanks for the reply. i just removed it, shouldn’t it still boot with a wlod?
No. The console is not turning on without HDMI chip. It result in the power sequence error 80810001.
WLOD is possible if there is a problem at HDMI port. But the HDMI chip must response to the southbridge in order to continiue with the power on sequence.
I thank you so much, is a Panasonic or Nuvoton MN864739 ok?, because I don’t have one at home right now. I’ll order two now and I’ll definitely let you know, also because the other console arrived without the HDMI chip.
Thank you so much, super kind
Nuvoton bought Panasonics semiconductor business and therefore Nuvoton is the name on the newer chips. But it is still the same M864739 chip.
so it is not excluded that once the M864739 is soldered, the console will not have any other problems.
If an issue accures during power sequence test, the sequence stopps at this point. After the problem is solved, the sequence will continue but will stop again if another problem occurs.
The MN864739 arrived today soldered, now I get the following errors in uart 80810001, C0020303 I checked the fuse F3501 and I get 0ohm, what other checks can I do?
The RAM power lines are low impendance. The reading looks ok to me.
I would atm stick to the area around the HDMI chip and check if all stdby voltages are present and power on voltages are showing up.
as a value though isn’t it too low? I checked a twin board that has some micron and I get about 190ohm, while for another edm board with hynix modules 30ohm, however I have all the voltages you provided me and I thank you
Sorry my mistake. This isn’t a RAM power line you have measured at your image. It is a SoC power line and the low impedence reading is ok.
The RAM power is on the right under your inserted readings image.
