So I was tearing apart my cuh 115a ps4 to apply new thermal paste and clean all the dust out. When i got the heat sink off my fan didnt have any of the sticky pads on it and the small metal tab was below the fan housing, will that affect anything? Should i buy some pads and move the tab where it is on all the videos I’ve seen or would it be fine to just clean up and put back together as is?
