Replacing whole mother board and optical drive board

I got a Xbox one x from eBay because it was reported that the hard drive had failed. After getting it and pulling it apart I found that the optical drive was replaced without swapping the boards. I contacted the seller and they were sending me the original drive, but it was lost in the mail (more likely not sent). I wanted to know if it would be worth it or even able to buy a mother board (with matching opt. drive board) and do a swap? The board is reported as having video issues, so I was thinking swap the retimer chip or hdmi’s as need, but would this even work?

Seems like you have spare parts now…
