My friend ripped off his PS5 fan connector while trying to clean it. He then dropped it off for me to repair after a failed attempt at it himself. He made a bit of a mess of it but I managed to clean up most of it and got the connector back on. The problem is before testing it I checked for continuity between the pins and got a ground fault between ground and pwm pins. When I removed the connector the fault is still on the solder points.I have done these before but never encountered this problem. Is this a common problem? and if it is how do I remove the ground fault between those two points? The board is an EDM-10 if that helps.
