I have a switch that the screens backlight comes on and if you touch the screen you hear it and if you put it in the dock it shows on the tv so I’m just trying to find out what might be wrong

I’d guess that the LCD connector or flat cable has been damaged or are corroded.

Yeah, I often seen almost water like corrosion on the LCD power flex cable connector for some reason. Even on non-water damaged systems.
