Hi, i have a sw (CPU-01) with this problòem:
No power, if i put the charger with the tester, the lcd of tester is blicking (and i was thinking the M92 was bad), but i dissasembled the case put a charge battery and smoke came out from the zone of the BQ24193, there are 2 capactor in shotrt (marked in yellow in the picture).Is necesary replace the BQ24193? I tried using alcohol, and I can see the BQ24193 heating up, not the capacitors. Could it be something else?

The 2 capacitor are the 1 uF and the 10 uf (are in parallel) (i think is the pin 23 of the IC)
Remove the Capacitors and test on pads for a short on the board if its gone then capacitors are the problem if the short is still there then most likely the BQ24193 you will have to remove and again check for short if the short is gone then that’s your problem.
