hi there steven, i have replaced the Fuel ic and now there are no more short thankyou for that, still not turning on just dont know ehere to look and ideas would help thankyou again, shane from Brisbane Australia

Please check the values around the BQ chip.

VBUS depends on the connected USB power source (5V or 15V)
BAT depends on the voltage inside the battery.

ok thankyou i will check them thankyou again, love from Brisbane Australia

i dont seam to get any values around any of the componets that you have marked, do you think it the BQ ic as i have replaced it once already ? (maybe bad BQ ic i bought from Aliexpress)

At the orange marking should be the actual battery voltage and if a USB power source connected 4.2V charging power from the BQ to the battery.

What is the voltage direct at the battery connector? The battery has a build in protection which can shut down the battery completely in case of a short at the battery lines.

thankyou, once i get home to brisbane i will check it out but thnkyou so much for your help

readings that i get with battery installed

If the blue marked line has 3.6V your system has power and should be ready to start.

Does at the red marked line the usb c power show up if a 5V and a 15V usb c source is plugged in?

RED and Pink Markers Show up as 0.02v with 5v usb C source connected
