Shorts on a 2017 Nintendo Switch near the Sd Card Port

Hello Everyone,

i have a nintendo switch currently on my desk which has some issues and i try to dig trough them and hopefully fix the console fully.

next to the sd card port, there are a lot of caps, and most them are shorted to ground, the console is not charging at all, but i can boot into hekate. sadly tho, can’t boot fw.

i was thinking about to first check to fix the short before i continue with the fw issue.
what would be the right way to investigate this issue now?

Kind regards

if you meant this area caps are “shorted”, no they are just low impedance to ground due to the nature of gpu power line requirement.

Oh i forgot to add the picture

Okay, so that means i need to find out now why the switch is not charging, i replaced the BQ and M92 now just to make sure, and now the console is at least back from 0.00draw to 0.09A. something i can at least work with to dig deeper what could be the issue.
