I am taking a look at someones lite and it will not boot, nothing on screen or sound, broken right joystick and apparently before the battery died it could not manually power down or sleep. After opening it up and testing everything thing i found a bunch of shorts. Circled in red…behind main cpu ship and one of the screen connectors. Think its worth it to fix or wait for another donor unit?
Please check in resistance mode if your probe points are really shorted. From my experience this points have a low resistance to ground and often are mistaken as shorted.
