Basically, I have a PS4 Pro with a defective drive and tried to test the console with a working drive from my ps4 slim.
When I swapped the drives, it would spin and the laser would shine, however I did not get the disc icon on the top right on my screen.
Thus the question: Are the disk drives between PS4 Slim and Pro interchangeable?
Follow up question: If they are, what component could have failed so that the drive spins and reads, but I do not get the cd icon on the screen? (F6202 was blown and replaced on the pro)
