Love to try and fix things, was given a PS5 digital with no power.
Hooked up via UART and got some codes and its something to do with the BT/Wifi card (80810001 followed by 80c00136)
I have never searched for a short before, I usually swap thumb sticks and HDMI ports, so if anything is wrong please let me know.
I have images of what caps are shorting but I can’t post images or link to them.
Checked all fuses and all are fine, all made my multimeter beep.
Side A 3.3v stndby is shorted to GND but reads 0.18V, 5V stndby fine not shorted
Side B 1.8V stndby is not shorted to GND but reads 0V, 5V stndby fine and not shorted.
Also, some of the caps on the back of the wifi are also showing shorted, but im unsure if thats normal or not.
