Switch Fails To Turn On Suddenly

I have a Switch that I bought used a while back. It turned on and played games like normal, but the fan made a lot of noise and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t cooling sufficiently, so I bought a replacement fan on iFixit along with their thermal paste. I installed the new fan after cleaning up the old thermal paste and applying the stuff from iFixit. I also cleaned up the thicker paste that was on the EM shield that also seems to act as a heat sink and used the new paste there as well (after checking iFixit’s website to make sure it was a non-conductive paste).

It worked well and it was much quieter after that. However, as weeks or possibly a few months passed (can’t remember the timing anymore), the switch refused to turn on at all suddenly. We left it plugged in to charge and I tried some reset button combinations that I found online, but it never turned on and I didn’t see it listed as a usb device when plugged into my computer and checking with lsusb. I opened up the switch and I don’t see any obvious signs of damage to my untrained eyes. No burns or anything that I could see. I’m not exactly sure how to trouble shoot this switch device. Any help would be appreciated.
