Hi, bought a switch lite with a blue screen fault, tried the applying pressure to cpu to see if it came on ( didn’t work ), so took off cover over chip and pressed again now screen is black with just backlight on. Have I damaged the cpu?
No, dont think do. My guess you reactivate the connection to turn on, but some solder points are still not connected to the cpu. The best way would be to remove the rams and reball them and resolder to the positions. But please only when you have experience and the equipment for that.
