Hello everyone.
I have a Nintendo Switch Lite that worked perfectly fine, I attempted to install a HWFLY mod chip on it, and after the installation the switch only showed a gray screen and the backlight would turn on. and when I press the power button it would turn off. I noticed the max77812 chip would get unreasonably hot. I desoldered the mod chip and cleaned up all the pads. The max chip would still get hot and had a greys screen but I couldn’t turn it off without unplugging the battery.
Fast forward I replaced the max77812 chip assuming I may have bumped it or ruined it when trying to remove the metal shield. The new max chip doesn’t get hot but now the switch doesn’t power on or show any signs of life. It just draws 15v at .153A. I cant find any shorted caps voltages appear to be present , fuse is good. Any ideas?
