I’m trying to reflow a Switch Lite with a blue screen. I just can’t seem to get the CPU to move at all. Ive tried different settings on the 2 in 1 rework station I have but nothing seems to work. I’ve got plenty of flux on there, probably too much at this point. Increased time nor temperature seem to make a difference. Do I simply just not have a good enough hot air gun for the job? The rework station I have is a Yihua 8786D.
Also may be worth mentioning that I also tried heating with and without a nozzle on the hot air gun. I have kapton tape covering other areas of the board. The temperature I have set is 480° Celsius and airflow at around 50%.
