The switch lite plays fine until it heats up enough to cause the fan to start spinning. As soon as the fan kicks on it makes a popping noise and shuts off completely. I can power it back on immediately and use it until the same point of the fan kicking on. I’ve tried two different fans.
Any idea what could be causing this?
I am replying to my own message because it seems I have solved the issue and I wont future people with the same issue to see it.
I am uncertain as to why, but having the metal backplate off caused the system to overheat very quickly, but with the metal backplace reinstalled the overheating issue has not occured with over an hour of play (previously about 5 minutes crashed the system).
The game did freeze once, not sure if it is related…
I will reply back here if anything changes.
