I have an unlocked Lite switch where the capacitor supplying 3.3V to the RP2040 was shorted. The capacitor was removed and the short disappeared. I didn’t find any other shorts on the board and the battery seems to be charging. The switch won’t turn on. I know that for it to turn on, certain voltages need to be present on the board. Could someone tell me which points I can get the necessary voltages from to turn the switch on?
Those voltages are for charging, and they are not mandatory for turnning on the device. You should measure the voltages around max77812 and post the “unlock related” test points been worked on
I had removed the RP2040. I got these voltages around the MAX77812. Any suggestions as to what’s causing the switch not to turn on?
if switch lite was working fine before you unlocking it, you should include pictures of the area you have worked on. Take actual pictures on the board with details. Cant turn on could cause by user error which leading to MAX chip crack, ripped pads on DAT0, RST, or CLK. etc.
The Switch was jailbroken about two years ago and had been working perfectly ever since. One day I left it charging with its original charger, and after that it wouldn’t turn on anymore.
