i have a problem with my niece’s nintendo switch that had a faulty USBC connector. i changed battery and the faulty USBC with a new one and tested it with a USB ameter. the console pulls 15V but doesn’t go beyond 3W of charge and goes to 0.3W at idle.
following other posts on the forum, i tried testing different points with a multimeter and everything seems to be in order
i Also verified if there are any shorted capacitors or resistors but i couldn’t find one. i’m suspecting the MAX17050 fuel gauge but i’m not sure and don’t know how to test it. I’m basically stuck and don’t know how to proceed. Any help is highly appreciated !
