A few days ago I tried turning on my Switch Lite to no avail. I last played on it 2 months ago so I thought it might’ve had no charge and plugged it in for a couple of hours. It wouldn’t turn on and I noticed that the icon to show the switch is charging doesn’t appear at all despite the charger working perfectly fine. I’m pretty sure this is hardware problem but I’m a bit hesitant to send my switch to Nintendo since I’ve heard they’ve erased game data whilst doing repairs before (and I cannot save anything to cloud because I don’t have a Nintendo Online subscription).
If somebody could run me through things I could check to repair it myself it would be appreciated. This switch has never had anything replaced as I bought it brand new in 2021. Thanks!
