Hey, I was able to test the console somewhere else. And it worked. Now the error is definitely in the docking station. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
Not easy to tell just based on your description, might be bad connection, might be bad charging ic
Do you mean the m92t55 with charging IC chip? Are there measuring points to find out exactly?
These Power Delivery chargers are just too intelligent. Just connected the breakout board. No voltage could be measured at A2 & A9 (VCC) (15mV). When I then connected a PS5 controller, for example, I was able to measure 5.1 V at A2 & A9 (VCC). Seen this way, my Switch Doking board simply doesn’t give any feedback. And therefore the Power Delivery charger does not release the voltage
