I came across 2 43inch dell monitors at a surplus - they were newly installed until a lightning storm came and shorted them out. Since these are fairly new monitors - no replacement/repair parts are out yet and dell support (without costing an arm and 2 legs) was a no go. Both seem have the same issue as they were sitting next to each other when the storm got’em.
But im willing to give one of the monitors away to whoever can help me get them fixed. These are like 1k monitors with built in kvm and tons of connections available. I’ve taken them apart to see if i can visually see any damages, but technology has came a lonnnnng way since the last time i repaired a pcb board. So before i mess them up any further - im calling out for help.
