I hope that you can help me with a chip I can’t find.
My NS2 won’t charge or connect to the dock. I’m from Chile and there is not an official technical service. I sent it to an unnoficial tech repair and they sent a pic about a dead chip that they don’t have a replacement.
The IFIXIT guide says it is called Infineon CP10359AT USB type-C controller. The problem is I can’t find it anywhere. The only thing I found was in a website that indicates the name of the controller as Cypress CYPD6228-96BZXI (CP10359AT). The site is switch2brew.
I found this chip in aliexpress, but I’m just no sure if it is the same or not (Can’t post link, but is the only post under that name). My tech knowledge does not go this far. My guess is that the CP10359AT is a modified unique chip exclusive to the switch 2.
Can some one confim if we can use this chip? The other option is replace the motherboard but it costs around $500 here ( the console is about $750 on retail.
Hope someone can help me, I’m desperate.
