I got a cheap backwards compat PS3. The power seems to be okay as it has a solid red light when turned on but it looks like the power and eject buttons dont work. Touching them does nothing.
I’ve popped her top off (`≖_≖ ) but pressed the metal S shaped doohickeys to no avail. How are you supposed to short the thing? I had rubber soled shoes on when I lightly tapped the S which is what I saw in a video todo.
I can buy a new power eject PCB for £5.99 pounds sterling but would like to turn it on atleast once first to see if anything else needs fixing.
How can I press the power button? Holding the PS button on the controller no work.
