It’s not exactly anything to do with electronics, but I’m curious if there’s a simple solution. I have a vehicle where the antenna broke off and the threads in the base are stripped out. It’s copper I’d assume, as it seems it would need to be. Is there some sort of conductive copper epoxy like jb weld that I could fill the hole and re drill/tap the hole? I’ve been searching around but doesn’t seem to be much on the topic, or maybe I’m not smart enough to understand what I would need. Just seems there’s gotta be something out on the market that would be cheaper and less time consuming than replacing the whole antenna assembly. I’ve looked into helicoils and inserts but the wall thickness would be so thin, I don’t think that would be a good fix. Thanks for any help!
