Hi all had a water damaged switch in to fix. This was pretty bad however customer wanted to proceed to get the data off. So I spent hours sorting it out ultra sonic cleaning replacing lots of burnt out components backlight ect and volla I got the thing up and running, great!
However I knew it might knew function correctly again and I was right it works fine off a battery and can charge fine but if I plug in a charger when it’s on dashboard the screen will go all white then basically crash until I do a hard reset.
It’ll play games connect to networks fine. Just obviously something not quite right with the power side.
I replaced m92 p13 ect too for good measure
So has anyone come across this before? any Ideas?
Customer said I can keep the switch for all my hard work. so rather than just Bin it I’d like to try and fix it fully
