What is this component?

I have a HAD-CPU-10 board here, right now I am looking for a sys short.

While looking at the bq chip I saw this little black square to the bottom right of the coil :thinking:

Can anybody help me out and tell me what this component is? Looking through my microscope I can’t find any numbers and looking through the forums I can find anything.

Ignore the green mask next to it, there was a blown cap and I needed to hide the wire

:thinking: diode I think, though I didn’t think Mariko revs use them here… but they are present on Switch Lite boards so maybe it’s normal here too on some revisions.

If I recall with this diode present on Lite you’ll get approx 300ohm resistance to ground on SYS (depending on probe polarity) as a result which is normal
