When connected, there is a connection sound, but the left joycon buttons do not work. I checked the connector, the contact is good. There is power supply 1.8 and 4.8, but power supply 1.8 without impulses. Can someone tell me what could be?
check joycon fuse, check with working joycon into left rail
the joystick and the rail are tested on the second set-top box and the working ones, the connector is also working on the board, there are no pulses on the 1.8 supply, there is only power On the right joystick, the oscilloscope shows an impulse of 1.8v
I checked it again and it turned out that on 2 set-top boxes the joystick only works on bluetooth. What can be with the joystick?
I would check the ribbon cable for the rail inside the JoyCon and the contacts to the Switch rail. For a test I would change the JoyCon rail from a known good JoyCon and check if the JoyCon acts normal. Maybe the ribbon cable is broken at the folding spot or some contacts are corroded.
The problem is in the board of the set-top box, I put 2 working strips and there are all signals on the connector from the bracket. I connected 2 working joy cons and they work only for bluetooth. I put the slats on another console and everything works. The problem is somewhere on the board of the set-top box. The connector is working, somewhere further you need to look.
