I was having overheating issues and had no dust so I decided to change the paste and pads. My consoles model is 12115a and I used grizzly thermal pads and Corsair TM30 thermal paste.
After reassembly it was working like brand new. But about an had hour passed when the system clicked once then shut off. When I tried to turn it back on it would give me a blue light for 2 seconds then it would turn off.
I’m led to believe the cpu/ram chips are getting too hot since it turned back on after 15 minutes but shut off again just 10 minutes later. Should I try new paste? Did I apply my paste wrong? Any help is appreciated.
