Xbox 360E Not booting when HDMI connected

When I have the hdmi connected on my 360E, it goes to a red ring. Any ideas? The console probably has water damage, however doesn’t appear to.

i believe the code is 4423. I may be mistaken though

Unfortunately that means the southbridge has died. Its becoming very common on s and e consoles, and can’t be replaced without the proper tools and equipment. I would recommend looking for a revision of the fat 360 called the jasper, since they tend to be much more reliable than s/e units
