So this controller’s stick drift is set to 100% on the Y axis, it doesn’t even come back any. X axis is fine. I changed out the analogue stick as I figured it must be a defective unit but the fault still remains. I’m fairly new to this so I don’t know much about the controller architecture but could there be any components on the Y axis bus that are defective that are causing this? Such as caps or resistors? I don’t have a microscope so I might have to wait to do any smd repairs, they’re so tiny! Any help would be appreciated before I go lounging around with my meter.
I have the exact same issue. Also replaced stick.
