Hello there Mr. Tronics. My 10 year old son saved up and finally got an xbox elite controller and then spontaneously got sick on it and now it doesn’t work 
i seen your video about how we can buy parts now! I did take it apart and replace the battery, in hopes that was all that got damaged, but when I put it back together and plugged it in to a charger, I small stream of smoke came out of the controller 
my question would be do you think it’s just the main board needing replaced? Or would i need to purchase both the 49.99 and the 59.99 bundles that include all internal boards?
P.S. I did clean everything inside the controller, very gently, with q tips, a soft toothbrush, and isopropyl alcohol. But alas, it was still cooked lol
