When I plug my xbox one x in the light does not come on but if you press the eject button it will ding or if you press the power it also makes a sound. You can tell the fan is spinning and the exhaust is warm however there is no hdmi activity at all. I haven’t seen a reference to this scenario anywhere. Any ideas???
So the light on the power button doesn’t come on? Usually if it’s an HDMI problem the power button light will come on. Based on that I’d guess a hard drive problem.
I was originally going to replace the drive. I have a new one but didn’t want to open and format a new drive without a little more to go on on the chance that was not the problem. However I do have a couple of pulls so I guess I could try one of those. Thanks.
