Xbox series s beep but no power on

Story time, my series s was purchased at launch and was used very rarely (more of a pc gamer).. my wifes was also purchased one week apart and mine had less use than hers, then one day i went to use it after around 3 weeks of no use and it would not turn on just a boop like i wanted to turn on but never spun the fan or anything to indicate working state, with no display out or lights etc.

check your caps if this happens, i had one measuring around 55c with it not turned on instantly making it short and refusing to power up at c561 (22UF 20% 6.3v XR5 603) replacing this when a replacement arrives and will update if this fixes it, seems to be the only faulty part on the board and only part generating a lot of heat.

Tested with thermal camera and the a cold reference then pin pointed it (because it was a low quality thermal camera) with insulation tape over the component and touching it with my finger the one that was hot will feel hot through the tape.

checked it on the multimeter and it read 096 and did not climb at all (they should slowly climb) but this also made the others on that rail read the same value because they are shared, the ones away from that unit are all reading normal with climbing values. then i used the schematic for the series s and got the value of the capactor.

for refference this capacitor is located under the heatsink at the bottom right corner of the board with the ethernet port side of the console being the top.

thanks for reading i will update when the parts arrive and i get a chance to fix it.

edit: tried to upload a picture of the board with the offending cap but it doesnt let me attach pictures to a post so not sure
