Hello everyone. I have a XSS with no picture. As i was digging deeper inside this problem i found that there is a continuity between HDMI lines 1 and 3. There is nothing like that between other data lines like 4 and 6 etc. According to existing schematic of XSS those lines should be independent/ I’ve checked around retimer and ESD and there is no shorts as far as i can tell. Usually those symptoms lead to HDMI retimer replacement, so i soldered a new one. After this console boots only once in safe mode with some reddish interference on screen. Second boot - no image. Just for experiment i remove HDMI filters on lines 1 and 3 - still shorted. Removed HDMI port - still the same. Now im wondering is it worth to do an ESD bypass at this point or i should look to other direction. Thx in advance
